Our property is located in Pauatahanui, fenced with horse safety in mind we are pleased to offer people an agistment service for people who due to time constraints are unable to give thier horses the attention they require. It may be you are going on holiday, wanting to wean a foal or lodge a broodmare in a safe environment We give our clients complete peace of mind while they are away on holiday. We also offer packages for people who would like assistance getting thier young horses started. We can manage horses of all stages and ages and there is no minimum length of stay. Our property is approx 12 acres and is divided into nine well maintained paddocks all fenced for horse safety with a mixture of post and rail and Electrobraid fencing.
We provide:
- A safe environment for your horse to be in.
- Feeding, covering, grooming as per your horses specific requirements
- Horses can be kept in work
- Owner onsite and checking horses several times a day
- Other horses on the property to prevent anxiety
- Owner experienced with green horses as well as aged equine care
- Rolling paddocks with various qualities of pasture.
Holiday Care Prices
PaddockCare1 $10.00 a day
Grazing in a paddock with covers off an on as required and fed out as required. Owner can supply hard feed or for a an additional $8.00 a day Jura will supply balegae and hard feed.
ExtraCare1 $30.00 per day
Grazing in a paddock with covers off an on as and owner supplied feed as required. Horse caught placed in a yard for a full groom (ideal for young, green horses needing regular handling. Owner can supply hard feed or for a an additional $8.00 a day Jura will supply balegae and hard feed.
StableCare1 $25.00 per day
Grazing in a paddock for eight hours, stabled overnight. Covers off and on as required. (feed requirements to be supplied by owner. Owner can supply hard feed or for a an additional $10.00 a day Jura will supply balegae and hard feed.
RehabilitationCare from $25.00 per day
Horse can be stabled or pastured or a combination of both. We can allow horses not medicated to ‘self medicate’ in our sick paddock which is planted with herbs and grasses that offer medicinal benefits. Rehabilitation exercises can be carried out as per instruction from your Vet or Equine Therpaist.

Extras:
Exercise $40.00 per 1 hour session 45 minutes of exercise (warm up, work, cool down) 15 minute allowance to prepare before and after ride. Owner can specify Jump Schooling, Hacking, Cross Country training or Flat work.
