Why Electrobraid works

"Installed correctly Electrobraid acts like a virtual electrified boxing ring - it is very strong and yet absorbs impact and springs back into place easily.  With fewer posts required than other fencing systems and using tension posts to keep the fence tensioned - there are no protruding reels or tightners sticking out to catch and injure your horse on.  Add to this the following safety benefits and you can see why horse owners love Electrobraid so much:

• It is secure enough to contain a horse that runs into it without causing injury or fence damage.  A single strand of ElectroBraid requires 500kg before it breaks.
• It has enough give to minimise impact injuries—like ropes on a boxing ring it gives and springs back - many nylon coated fences are too rigid and can cause broken bones.
